Bryan Herman G6 black/white shoe released today!

Well today Bryan Herman released his new color way for his Emerica G6 shoe. I actually went and bought me a pair today at Active Ride Shop. These shoes are really comfortable to skate in and the padding in the shoe is really advanced for absorbing impact from doing tricks off of big obstacles. Their kinda expensive like around 80 dollars but it's worth it. In my opinion I think Bryan Herman did a great job in making this new pro model shoe and I hope he comes out with nice color ways for this shoe this year.

Went To Las Vegas Pharmacy Skate shop!

This past weekend I went on a road trip to Las Vegas for 3 days it was awesome the only thing was that it was really cold. It was about 22 degrees in Las Vegas. Well while I was over there I decided to go to pharmacy skate shop which is one of Bryan Herman's skate shops sponsors. It was pretty cool not that big but it had everything you needed. Pharmacy skate shop is known in Vegas. Not so many skaters are in Vegas because there really isn't many skating spots around Vegas since is mostly desert. Overall it's still nice that there is skate shops supporting skateboarding everywhere!

Police Officers Giving Out Tickets!

This week there has been police officers handing out tickets to the people on the metro for any little thing that they do. My friends have gotten tickets this week on the metro for getting on their boards to go to the back of the train to make it in time before the train left them. The police officers were trying to scare my friends by cursing at them loudly at their face. They got a ticket that they have to pay 75$ for just for riding their skateboards. I highly suggest that you guys should buy a train ticket and not ride your bikes or boards. Police officers are getting strict on the metro now and will do anything to give you a ticket! just giving you guys a heads up!

D.A.R.E. - Drops marijuana from kids antidrug curriculum

As of this month, Drug Abuse Resistance Education, or D.A.R.E., the nation's largest anti-drug non-profit group, will no longer indoctrinate public school elementary kids against the evils of marijuana.

This is pretty major news, stoner's, since D.A.R.E. has been preaching against the funky weed since the just-say-no days of the 1980's, and the use of marijuana by kids is the only victory that the group claims it's been able to deliver during that time.

That self-congratulatory claim is itself dubious, however, since several studies and government audits over the years have argued that D.A.R.E. has actually been responsible for rising rates of pot smoking among adolescents, who might not have known anything about  ganja if it wasn't for being exposed to it by D.A.R.E. Indeed, this controversy is why D.A.R.E.'s funding in recent years has plummeted from more than $10 million per year to just third that amount, and why, hoping to reverse that trend, the group recently unveiled a new and hip anti-drug campaign called "Keeping It Real."
